JGLOBAL launches its Global initiative from Moscow to the World

JGLOBAL (Global Jewish Platform for Young Adults), a mega-initiative by the Seidner Jewish Foundation, launched its Global activity in Moscow right before the beginning of Sukkoth. The first global event of JGlobal was called JGlubbing and enabled young Jewish adults in Moscow to interact and connect with young Jewish adults from all over the world.

The event, the first of a kind, combined a live event at Noodles Club in downtown Moscow, a few hundred meters from the Red Square, with a global webinar-based camera interaction with young adults in different cities in the world who were able to join the event alive. READ MORE

We are glad to let you know that Dina Sosberger has joined the JGlobal (Global Jewish Platform) as our local representative in Croatia. She is joining the international team of JGlobal that will bring ideas and resources to make JGlobal the broadest network of Young Jewish Adults worldwide. We would like to invite you to become part of the Worldwide Network of Jewish Festivals (part of JGlobal Jewish Platform) network of Jewish Festivals. The Worldwide Network of Jewish Festivals aims to connect cultural organizers, artists, performers and festival fans from all over the world, in one single platform where everybody has the possibility to get to know new things, book artists for events, learn about Jewish culture and exchange ideas for the future. We are planning to organize an annual conference for all of you that will focus on Jewish/Israeli culture in Festivals and clubs. In the conference there will be place as well for speeches on various topics concerning new Jewish/Israeli music and other forms of arts. During the conference new, young and promising artists will have the possibility to perform in front of festival organizers and known artists will lead sessions for beginning artists. The Seidner Jewish Foundation announced today the appointment of Jorge Diener as its new Executive Vice President.
The recently established Seidner Jewish Foundation aims to connect young Jews globally as a way to strenghten Jewish continuity and the sense of Jewish peoplehood.
At a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, Marton Ipacs, its Chairman and Founder praised the extensive international experience of Argentinian born-Israeli Jorge Diener and shared with the Board his belief that he will lead the organization in realizing its vision.
The Budapest-based Seidner Jewish Foundation was set up by Marton Ipacs and his family to honour Mr. Ipacs’ grandmother, Magdolna Seidner, an Auschwitz Holocaust survivor; and it is the first Jewish Family Foundation to be set in Hungary.
